The roman catholic congregation of Cluj-Mănăştur celebrates in 2010 the 950^th anniversary of the foundation of the one-time famous benedictine abbey. This DVD was realized in the spirit of this major event. The choir Schola Gregoriana Monostorinensis interprets the most appropriate ecclesiastical/liturgical music to the atmosphere of the place where the recording was made: the church, standing on the site of the one-time benedictine abbey, was restored in the last decade of the 20^th century and received an Europa Nostra Award.

The recordings were realized on the demand of Credo TV, in the Calvary Church from Cluj-Mănăştur, in September 2009.
