University Institute for Hungarian Studies present a lecture by Attila Szakolczai

Attila Szakolczai received his diploma from Eötvös Loránd University in 1985. Teaching history at the Berzsenyi Dániel Gymnasium, he became its Vice Principal in 1989. In 1991, he joined the Budapest Institute for the History of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. His publications analyze the Revolution's regional history and the Communist Kádár government's era of retaliation. As co-editor, he wrote a major introductory study to the 1996 two-volume, 575 pp. collection of documents about one of the most important regional centers of the Revolution, titled: Gyôr, 1956. *** All are welcome! |
